How to get your Newsletter!

When you click on the FORUMS button in the web site, you will have one of two things happen.

1- If you are not registered or have not checked the “, you will be at the Login/register page of the SWLA Forums.  If you have registered in the past, type in the same username and password that you used to register and the forums will let you in.  Once done, proceed to number 2 below.  If you have not registered, click on the REGISTER link.  This will bring up the terms page.  Click on “I agree to these terms”.  You will then be asked for a user name, which will be your name (John Smith). *******Your real name is the only one that will work******* .  Next, enter your email address and confirm it. The next line will ask you for a password.  Make it a password you can remember as we will not have a way to get the password for you, so write it down.  You will need to confirm the password in the next box.  The last thing you will need to do is enter a confirmation code in the last box at the button of the page.  Enter the numbers and letters as indicated in the box.  Just a note, there are no zero's in the code.  Click on submit and we will get you turned on as soon as we can and you will get an email when it’s turned on.  When you get the email click on the link and enter your username and password that you used to register. Check the box for “Log me on automatically each visit”, then click login and it will let you in.  Proceed to number 2.

2 - You should see the Board index. There will be a Forum named “Newsletters”.  Click on it and you will have a list of years for the newsletters.  Click on the year you would like.  This will give you a list of months for the newsletters.  Click on month that you are looking for.  You will see an attachment box that has the newsletter in it (07-09SWLA newsletter.pdf).   Click on it and it will ask if you would like to open or save it.  If you click on “open”, the newsletter will open for you.  You should now be looking at the newsletter!!!

If you checked the "Log me on automatically each visit” box the next time your on the web site and click on the forums they will just open up for you. That's just one click to got on the forums!!
